If you need an attorney, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are happy to answer any questions. On this page, we're providing answers to some of the questions we are most often asked.
Q: How do I know whether or not a lawyer is qualified to take my case?
A: There are three things you need to consider when selecting a lawyer: Experience and ability; communication; and fees.
Experience
Ask the lawyer if he or she has experience handling cases like yours. Ask them if they specialize in this area and if they have trial experience with these types of cases.
Communication
You should feel comfortable enough to disclose everything that is relevant to your case. If you cannot trust your lawyer with this information, then you have probably picked the wrong person to represent you.
Fees
A client must feel comfortable with, and be able to pay, the lawyer's fees. However, when considering a lawyer's rates, be aware that an experienced lawyer with a full and competent staff working with him is likely to charge according to his or her experience level and efficiency.
Q: After retaining a lawyer, am I committed to that lawyer throughout the case?
A: Absolutely not. If at any time a client is unsatisfied with the performance of the lawyer, the relationship can be terminated.
Q: Do you charge for an initial consultation?
A: If you decide to hire us to represent you, the initial consultation will be charged to you as part of the total fee. If you do not hire us, we will not charge you for the initial consultation.
